Laundrymat Project, 2006–
As part of the Laundrymat Project I set up this very simple vendor's cart outside
of my local laundrymat on 145th Street in Harlem, NY. While there I was making
drawings and encouraging my neighbors to make and exchanges drawings with me.
The boy shown on the left traded his drawing with me for a drawing I made of Angela Davis.
